After learning Faith's preferences, we decided to create pants that reflected her love for wide-leg trousers and denim. This design choice would align with her style while ensuring comfort and versatility.

With the design direction in place, we selected the appropriate clothing pattern for the pants. The pattern, created by HappilyDressedLLC, guided the construction process and allowed us to efficiently bring the design to life, showing how using a pattern can streamline garment creation without the need for complex tailoring/pattern making skills.

Once the design and pattern were set, I sourced fabric from FABSCRAP, a textile recycling center in Brooklyn. This allowed us to incorporate pre-loved textiles, aligning with our sustainable fashion values.

While following the chosen pattern, I noticed that the original sizing didn’t fit perfectly. I went back and made adjustments, increasing the thigh area for a better fit and incorporating more fabric scraps from previous garments for additional denim touches.
